Our future

Hello,
So we have reserved a home! It won't be official until November, but we are signing the contract on Friday. We found a floor plan we like and then we found the lot to put it on! We are so excited. We get to pick everything in it such as upgrades. It works out perfect for us because we can get the tax credit and still have the upgrades we want. Plus, we won't have to break our lease too early. It is a one level 2100 square foot home in gilbert, where we live now. Brooklyn won'thave to change schools so that is good. This is a huge weight lifted off our shoulders!! We are ready to be in our own home!! this is a well known builder in the area and they build very elegant homes. We will post pics as we take them. Brooklyn has learned how to say "outside" she screams it and then runs to the door. It is the cutest thing. She thinks because she says it it should happen. haha She is the cutest thing! She has decided that she will only eat peanut butter. She loves peanut butter sandwiches! We can't send them to school because other kids could have allergies to it, so Brooklyn won't eat her lunch. she waited to get home and then has a PB sandwich. She eats the crust and all which is rare, but at least it is protein right? She is a girl who knows what she wants! hahha Til next time...

Back to the daily grind

So after having 3 days off I am back to the daily grind. I have to work Saturday, but it is time and a half so I am okay with that! We are going to look at houses on Monday so that is exciting! Also, our friend Kyle is coming on Wednesday. He and Jeff are going to a 311 concert on Friday. I think Jeff is excited to show his friend around and just hang out with a familiar face! It is raining here tonight the sky was super black when I left work, and the sun hadn't even gone down completely yet. Lots of thundering, but I don't have to worry about tornadoes anymore!!! Jeff took Brooklyn to see the puppies today at the pet store and to play at the mall park. They had a Daddy daughter day today because her school had a day off. She really enjoyed it! Jeff said when she saw the puppies in the window she said "Chadsey" our dog's name. I am pretty sure she thinks every dog is named Chad. haha
Jeff has over 20 of his songs signed to labels now. 6 of them are already for sale! This is very exciting and just shows how very talented he is! I am so proud of him. This heat must be good for him. hehe Brooklyn loves dancing to his music. You have to be quick though because she dances for just a minute and then she needs to rest. She thinks it is funny! Til next time...

So Brooklyn taught herself how to put her shoes on! She does it all by herself and she is so very proud. It takes her a little while, but when she gets them on she squeals with excitement! It is the cutest. Jeff has decided that he is going back to school. We are very excited as a family that he is ready to start a career! After alot of talking and thinking and getting information he has made his decision. He knows what he wants to do and is going to do it. Now he just needs to make all A's to get into the college of his profession. He will start out at a Community College here taking 18 hours at a time so that he can transfer to another college to get his degree. I am going to leave you hanging on your seats wondering what his major will be for now. He is positive this is what he wants to do, but he is nervous and excited and wanted me to wait to tell everyone. I am very excited for my Husband. I know his Mom would be so proud of who he has become as a father, Husband, and person! We love him so much and wish him the best!

The amazing Brooklyn

Hello again! I posted a picture about of when Brooklyn was 2 days old. We had just brought her home from the hospital. I remember not wanting to change her clothes because those were so hard to get on. I remember thinking she isn't getting dirty! Not to worry I did change her everyday! I got better at putting her clothes on!!! hahah Plus I had to start using all the clothes people gave us as gifts. The second picture was from about 2 weeks ago. She was up jamming with her Daddy. That is the perfect picture of her! It captures her personality! SHe is the giggliest of the all!
SO today I went for my physical for my new part time job at the Hospital here. this will hopefully open alot of doors for me! I want to become fulltime at the hospital, but I have to get my foot in the door! SO here I go embracing the future. They gave me a MP3 player because I was a new hire! That was a surprise. As we look for a house for have some other exiting things going on. We are about to make some important decisions in our lives and need everyone's support, and prayer/happy thoughts! I will let you know more when we have made our decision.
Enough about us I know you guys are dying to hear about Brooklyn. Well the petting zoo came to her school today and they said she was the best with animals. They called her the animal whisperer. hahahahah Probably because she is used to the zoo at our house. She is really growing up and into a kind and gentle person! She is everything I wanted my child to be and more. She is so compasionate and curious. I cannot say enough about her!! You guys know what a love bug she is! The other night I was looking for her pacifier under her bed so I had my head on the floor and was reaching under bed. She walks up beside me and pats me on the back like I was going to sleep. It was the cutest thing ever. She then walks into the room where Jeff is playing his music and just starts dancing like crazy!!! She was all over the place. hahaha
Well we are about to go drive through this neighborhood is Gilbert to see if we like it. Til next time...

Our lazy Sunday

Hello again... So today we went and checked out some neighborhoods in the Phoenix area and we were not pleased!!! We now know where we want to live. Now to just find that perfect house! hahaha I wish it were that easy. So we will be looking in Gilbert where we live now. We love the family neighborhoods and the fact that none of them are surrounded by trailer parks. I am ok with cattle and empty land. hahahah We have really started to like it out here in Gilbert! We are mainly looking at new builds so this should be fun we mainly get to see model homes. Jeff just went and got some Torino beer that Q introduced him to, that he loves now! And it is so cheap probably because they only sell it here in the Fresh and Easy (that is a grocery store). We had lunch with Lauren (Jeff's sister) at Rubios and it was delicious. Brooklyn just wanted to look at the fish in the tank and didn't even try the food! It is weird when our child doesn't want to eat. hahaha She just kept saying "FISH!" It truely was cute! hahahha I have my physical for my new job on Tuesday and I am pretty excited about that. I need to be getting my licenses and shot records together, but instead I am writing on here. I am a bit of a procrastinator for those of you who didn't already know that! It is weird I am seriously a planner, but when it comes time to get stuff together I like to wait til the last minute. We sent some pictures out to family this week so those of you who do not get any or are wondering why there aren't very many of Brooklyn, or any by herself it is because she was done after the group ones. I am going to take her again soon and get some of just her so please be patient! haha I must capture her cuteness I know!! Also I will be posting new pics of her on snapfish soon! Til next time...

Brooklyn is becoming a BIG girl

So today Brooklyn washed her car, got the mail, led Chad around by his collar, and cleaned the floor. You might be asking yourself "What is going on?" Well apparently she has learned from school how to clean and loves it! I mean she cleans everything my little clone! hahaha Just like her Mother loves to have things neat and clean. She has also learned to put her toys away by herself you just have to ask her to do so. I cannot believe how big she is getting. Soon she will be giving herself a bath and putting herself to bed at the rate we are going. hahah I was not ready for this! Jeff could not be happier that she is so independent and smart. I am very glad that she is a smart little cookie, I'm just not sure about the independent part.
We are about to start looking for a house to purchase. Being the planner that I am we have everything in order and ready to go. Now we just have to find that Perfect house! This is all very exciting for us. We are ready to have a house of our own where we can plant things and do what we want to the house. We want to live in Gilbert, but are looking in other areas as well so we don't miss anything! Wish us luck and we will keep you posted! Until next time...

Hello from the Gonzalez Family...

Well we have been in AZ for about 4 months now and are doing great! We love it here!! It is sunny everyday I had no idea a place like this existed. I miss my family, but I am excited about starting our new life out here. Brooklyn has been doing great as well! She is in school 5 days a week 4 hours a day. She is signing and talking up a storm! Mom ans Q came to visit last week and we had a blast. It is still hard to watch them leave AZ! Jeff says its not like we will never see them again! At least when they left this time we had jobs and life is grand. It was exciting to be able to show them around and give them a glimpse into our lives. I think Brooklyn misses the company though. I am hoping Jeff will want a new baby soon! I am ready as ever to have a bundle of joy to hold again. Jeff isn't so instead he said "are you ready to look for a home to buy?" Hahaha He has a way of distracting me. Today at school the houses came to visit and Brooklyn was the only one in her class that would touch them. They said she loved it. I will be keeping you guys updated with Brooklyn's cutest moments and our lives as they unfold in the desert. There will be pictures on the next blog I promise. Til next time...
